Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made through our website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Your Right to Cancel
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason. Whilst a reason is not required, it would be much appreciated as it allows us to review our product offering to ensure we provide a better overall experience. No penalty is imposed if the legal right to return is used and no reason is given.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us within the 14 day cancellation period by contacting us at hello@scandikjewels.co.uk, or by filling the returns form at the bottom of this page which replaces the prescribed model cancellation form.
Please retain your proof of purchase, as if we are unable to find your order using the information given, we may request information such as the item confirmation, invoice, order number or packing slip to assist.
Once you notify us, you must return the item(s) within 14 days. We will then issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Refunds beyond the legally mandated period
We get it, life happens and occasionally you just need a bit longer. If you are just outside the 14 day period but still within 30 days of receipt, please get in touch by email at hello@scandikjewels.co.uk, or by completing the form below and we’ll try to assist where we can.
If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we will be unable to offer a full refund or exchange if you change your mind.
2. Return Conditions
Due to hygiene reasons, we will be unable to provide a full refund or exchange if any earrings have been worn. We may also refuse a full refund, and any partial refund is granted at our discretion if:
- Refund is for services received within the 14 day period
- Any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Returned goods are not received and you are unable to provide proof of postage
All goods where customisation is applied are exempt from the right to cancel once we have sent confirmation of the order.
3. Return Shipping
Please return your product to the address as confirmed on your return slip as we will be unable to accept returns posted to any alternative address.
Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, you are responsible for return shipping costs.
The Royal Mail first class delivery is offered as a ‘premium’ service and only costs relevant to the Royal Mail second class postage will be refunded if you cancel within the 14 day period. For cancellations outwith the initial period, no postage will be refunded.
During the extended cancellation period, for your convenience, we may offer to provide a returns label. The cost of this labels postage will be deducted from any refund due, however you will be advised of this prior to confirmation of return.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if an item is faulty.
We check every item before it is posted and take photographs to confirm condition but if a mistake has happened and your item arrives:
- damaged
- defective
- incorrect
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
We will arrange one of the following:
- Replacement item
- Repair
- Full refund
Return shipping will be covered by us in these cases.
5. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Please note that we will be unable to process refunds to details that differ from original method of payment unless there are exceptional circumstances, of which we require proof.
Your refund will be processed on approval but no later than 14 days from receipt of your return. It can take 5-7 working days for the banks to process the credit.
Late or missing refunds
If eight working days have passed since you received your confirmation of a refund, please get in touch at hello@scandikjewels.co.uk for assistance.
6. Incorrect Address Provided
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you give to us is correct. We send an order confirmation email prior to shipment which outlines the information we hold for you for the delivery. If you notice that your address is incorrect, please email payments@scandikjewels.co.uk as soon as possible. If the shipment has not yet been created, we may be able to amend the relevant details.
If an order is fully completed with an incorrect shipping address, we are not responsible for lost deliveries.
If the parcel is returned to us, we can:
- resend the order (additional shipping cost applies) or
- issue a refund minus shipping and return fees
7. Chargebacks
Customers must contact us first to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Fraudulent chargebacks will result in order cancellation and account restrictions.
8. Sale items
All Sale items are non-refundable.
9. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@scandikjewels.co.uk and we’ll get the process started.
